killer clip- The Big Top 10 Horror shots

Killer Clip-

The Big Top 10 horror shots

There is 10 shots we was shown which were :
  1. Off Kilter
  2. Over the shoulder shot of the killer
  3. Close up / extreme close up of fear
  4. 360 degree shot to show isolation/ fear
  5. High angle shot to show victim's Vulnerability
  6. Close up of weapon
  7. low angle shot to show the power of the killer
  8. how to stab some-one without hurting them
  9. point of view of victim and killer as victim crawls away on her back and killer approaches
  10. use the power of suggestion
After we was shown we was then told to make a small horror clip/film including the 10 shots we was shown. But, as you see we didn't do all of the shots but we included as many as we could which would work with our clip well.

In my opinion, this sequence was really good as it made sense and we had loads of good shots. We work as team and we use most of the equipment we could like the monopod, the dolly, the actually camera and the lighting. These all help us get the best shots we could. If I could change something of the sequence it would be either including more shots of the list or it would be when i was going to hit ellen in the head with the weapon I should of hit her faster as it did look bad as it was slow. It was also bad as how slow it hit her head made it funny that ellen shouldn't of been knock out because of the slow hit. So I would change that. Also, i would include a few another shots like number 9 in the list as it would be more effective.

Welcome Post

Welcome

Hello and welcome to my blog.

My name is Jack Marshall and i am currently 16 years old. I'm a student at All Saints Catholic School sixth form and currently studying: Btec sport, Btec Business, Btec ICT and Film Studies. This Blog will be mostly about Film studies and the projects in film studies.

As this blog is mainly about film studies, I might as well talk about my interests in Film. My favourite genre would be between Comedy or Action. I also like sporty Films like " The Mean Machine" and "The longest Yard" and superhero films like "The Avengers". My worst genre is probably drama as it can just bored me. I don't love horror films but i don't mind them. But, as the topic in film studies is horror films, it looks like i'm going to have to deal with them.

I don't have a favourite film but there is a few films which stand out. The mission impossible films are good and i can watch them all day long. Also the Fast & Furious films is another good collection.
One of my favourite comedies is also the british comedy " The inbetweeners". This film makes me laugh every time. Also the first Grown ups. Also i like Pain & gain.
